Freelance Total Rewards is a global firm, based in Singapore. Most of our clients operate in multiple countries. We therefore comply with all data privacy laws for countries in the region.
Specifically:
- We never request employee names or tax ID numbers. We only work with Employee ID.
- We share files using the client’s preferred file storage, such as Sharepoint or Dropbox.
- Our internal working files are stored on Dropbox Pro with enterprise-grade security.
- Our contracts specify that both consultants and clients agree to comply with all applicable privacy laws, regulations, standards and directives.
- We retain company data only as long as necessary to deliver contractual services and for one year thereafter for reference, often at client request.
- We never send Excel file attachments with “password to follow” which is not secure.
